How to Access the Zimbra Classic Web App

Changing your Zimbra page to the Classic Web App (Zimbra 8.8.15 Advanced Web Client)

  1. Open your Zimbra Mailbox.

  2. Select the Gear icon in the top right corner of the screen.

  3. Select Classic Web App in the drop down menu.

  1. When prompted by your browser, refresh the page.

Just like that, you should be able to access the Classic Web App for Zimbra. Note that this change is not permanent, meaning that the next time you open your mailbox, the Modern Mail App will be displayed.

 

Permanently Enabling the Classic Web App

  1. In your Zimbra Mailbox, select the Gear icon in the upper right hand corner and select Settings.

  2. Under General you can change Zimbra Version from Modern to Classic.

*Note that changing this setting may not work depending on your Zimbra Administrators specified version for your web client.
