iOS

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Scroll down until you see Mail in the fifth set of icons and click on it.

  3. Accounts → Add Account → Microsoft Exchange.

  4. Enter your Zimbra email and an optional description, then hit Next.

  5. When prompted, select Configure Manually

  6. Enter your Zimbra password when prompted .

  7. Select options about what apps you want to sync with your Zimbra email.

  8. Tap Save.

You can now access Zimbra in your Native Mail application for iOS.

Android

  1. Open Settings

  2. Scroll down and select Accounts → Add Account → Exchange.

  3. Enter your Zimbra email address and Password.

  4. Select Save → Done.

You can now access Zimbra in your Native Mail application for Android.

Gmail (iOS)

  1. On your iOS device, open the Gmail app.

  2. Add an email address:

    1. If this is your first time setting up an email in the Gmail app, select → Add an email address. If not, follow step (b) instead.

    2. If you are already signed into another email account within the app, select the profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen and select Add another account.

  3. You will be prompted to select the email account type. Select Other (IMAP).

  4. Enter your Zimbra email address and password as prompted.

  5. Enter IMAP server. This is generally the usual URL that you would use to sign into your email on a computer browser.

  6. The port for secure access to e-mail using the IMAP protocol is 993 and the security type is SSL/TLS.

  7. Enter SMTP server. This is generally the same URL as the IMAP server previously entered.

  8. The port for SMTP server is 465 and the security type is SSL/TLS.

  9. Enter the name that you would like to be displayed on sent mail.

  10. Once completed, you should see the additional mailbox by swiping to the right.

You can now access Zimbra in your Gmail application for iOS.

Gmail (Android)

  1. On your Android device, open the Gmail app.

  2. Add an email address:

    1. If this is your first time setting up an email account the Gmail app, select → Add an email address. If not, follow step (b) instead.

    2. If you are already signed into another email account within the app, go to the top right and click the three-dash menu icon to open the left settings panel. Then select the arrow to the right of your current email address to bring down the drop down menu. Here you can select the Add an email address option.

  3. You will be prompted to select the email account type. Select Exchange.

  4. Enter your Zimbra email address and password as prompted.

  5. Enter the server address. This is generally the usual URL that you would use to sign into your email on a computer browser.

  6. The port to access the Zimbra web client is 443 and security type is SSL/TSL.

  7. When prompted, set preferences for sync on your phone.

  8. name your account.

You can now access Zimbra in your Gmail application for Android.
